Please place your Wedding Cake order from 2 to 6 months in advance and custom cake orders with at least two to three (2 – 3) weeks notice.

Changes can be made up to two (2) weeks before the event date.  After that, the order is final.

We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete.  You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s).  Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.

If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Cakes by Erika.

I’m willing to reserve a slot for 48 hours on a given date while you decide what you wish to do, but once that time is up and your deposit has not been made, if someone else request that date I cannot in good conscience accept new orders for that week.  Bookings are made on a first come, first pay basis.  Your date is not reserved until we have received a deposit from you.

Delivery within 10 miles of Cakes by Erika is $15 for Wedding and other cakes over $100.  Over 10 miles an additional $0.50 a mile to the destination (round trip).  It is highly recommended for wedding cakes.

I require a non-refundable $100 deposit at time of order on all wedding cakes.  Your $100 deposit will go towards your cake order.  The remainder is due 2 weeks before the day of delivery.  We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or contract is null and void, and deposit will not be refunded.

Other cakes require a non-refundable  deposit of 50% of the order, up to $50 at time of order. The rest is due on day of pickup/delivery.

Payment can be made by cash, check, or by credit card via PayPal.
